The Olympic View: A look at what's new with the Olympic Team
We would like to introduce you to a new addition to the Olympic Team!
As a chiropractor with a lifelong connection to movement, a foundation in psychology, and a passion for patient education, Dr. Paulo Webb offers an integrative, whole-person approach to care. His path to chiropractic medicine began with martial arts and professional dance training, deepened through years of yoga instruction, and working closely with people in dynamic, service-driven environments.
After earning his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Washington and his Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences, he combined his movement expertise with clinical training to create a thoughtful, evidence-based practice.
He meets each patient where they are—with empathy, clarity, and the belief that healing happens best through collaboration, education, and movement.
Dr. Webb and his wife Elora are long time Edmonds residents. Both are wonderful, but Elora is exceptionally sweet. (She is a beekeeper and makes honey!) We are excited to add Dr. Webb’s talent to the team!
Here's a recent testimonial from one of our patients:
“Treatment is holistic and well rounded; they treat the entire person!”
For over two years I experienced neck and shoulder pain, weakness and restricted motion. It caused me to miss out on workouts and limited my ability to participate in the Tough Mudder races. I tried other chiropractors and used ibuprofen but only saw temporary relief. Olympic is awesome, they treat the whole patient. After about a month of treatment, I began moving better, getting more fit and lifting heavier weights! My quality of life is better overall because Ihave less pain and more energy. I am getting out and staying active with my kids, going on hikes, skiing etc. and enjoying them more. The staff at Olympic are very involved, committed, and engaged with each patient. They are the best; treatment is holistic and well rounded; they treat the entire person!

A Message from Dr. Shelley
Trevor‘s treatment:
As Trevor said, he tried chiropractic and medication, but only had temporary relief. In fact, a chiropractor that had treatment here for shoulder pain referred him to us. Trevor‘s treatment included PRP injections, chiropractic adjustments, acoustic pressure, wave therapy, Trigenics manual therapy, and laser treatment. Following is a brief explanation of what the different treatments do and why we use them in combination to treat shoulder problems.
- PRP platelet rich plasma uses your own plasma (fluid in the blood) to activate repair of cartilage, tendons, and ligaments.
- Chiropractic adjustments restore motion to joints that are restricted in the spine and the extremities.
- Acoustic pressure wave therapy, also known as shockwave therapy, releases scar tissue in muscles and joints.
- Trigenics (myoneural manual medicine) rebalances muscles, strengthening weak muscles and lengthening muscles that are contracted.
- Non-invasive laser reduces pain and inflammation, speeding repair of damaged soft tissues.
Life is better with less joint pain:
As Trevor said, his quality life is better because he has less pain and more energy. As a result he’s able to do more, like spending time with his kids and being active.
A joint pain cure all?
Nope. If there is advanced cartilage degeneration or full thickness tendon tears, surgery is really the only option.
How do I know if it will work for me?
As you probably guessed, you need to schedule to be evaluated. A detailed orthopedic, neurologic and functional examination will reveal a lot. X-ray and/or MRI may be recommended as well in some cases.

Please forward this newsletter to them. You might be the reason they get relief and can get back to enjoying life again!
