Peripheral Neuropathy Relief

What is Peripheral Neuropathy?
Peripheral neuropathy is a condition in which the nerves in our extremities (arms and legs) have been damaged. Peripheral nerves carry more than just pain messages. Some nerve fibers carry information about temperature and pressure. This is why a neuropathy sufferer may have burning, freezing, or throbbing sensations. They often find it difficult to walk, use stairs, and maintain their balance; falling is a serious risk. Many are miserable because the chronic symptoms cause them to loose sleep, and rob them of their quality of life.
Peripheral neuropathy is a frustrating, life impairing condition that is often overlooked until it’s too late to treat effectively. Common medical treatment consists of drug prescriptions. Unfortunately, these medications affect all nerves, not just the ones affected by neuropathy, and they only mask the symptoms. Fortunately, recent advances in treatment are offering relief for many peripheral neuropathy suffers. Contact Olympic Spine & Sound Pain Solutions to learn more!
