The Olympic View: A look at what's new with the Olympic Team
Thought for the Month
“Everyone wants better results.
Skill precedes results.
Practice precedes skill.
Attitude precedes practice.
It’s the willingness to try (and keep trying) that leads to ability.”

Three buddies die in a car crash, they go to heaven to an orientation.
They are all asked, “When you are in your casket and friends and family are mourning upon you, what would you like to hear them say about you?”
The first guys says, “I would like to hear that I was a great doctor of my time, and a great family man.”
The second guy says, “I would like to hear that I was a wonderful husband and school teacher which made a huge difference in our children of tomorrow.”
The last guy replies, “I would like to hear them say… LOOK, HE’S MOVING!!”Solutions for Symptoms after Shoulder Surgery
I was involved in a car accident in June 2025. My right shoulder was injured so severely that I had to have rotator cuff surgery.
The pain I felt was crazy. Any slight movements could cause excruciating pain. Even after the surgery, my shoulder was in a guarded position.
I wasn’t able to work for months. I even had to have assistance doing simple things like getting dressed or doing my laundry.
One of my family members was in a car accident and mentioned being treated at Olympic with amazing results.
When I came to Olympic I was four months post surgery and had already received treatments including acupuncture, massage, chiropractic, and physical therapy. And I was still taking narcotic pain medication. My progress seemed very slow even with the treatments I had before. Sometimes it even felt like I wasn’t even making any progress. After many months of these treatments, I was only about 25% better.
That all changed when I started treatment at Olympic. The treatments I have received here have really accelerated the recovery process. I feel a drastic improvement in the function of my shoulder. I can do more of what I used to do. I’ve been able to return to work on a part-time basis. Now I can enjoy my walks around Green Lake and I’m able to spend more time with family activities like grilling patties on a nice sunny day. What a change from spending my time laying on my bed popping narcotics that would get me high and hardly affect the pain. Now, I’m feeling more than 80% better and I’m still improving!
The staff at Olympic have been amazing. I am a registered nurse and I wouldn’t want to be treated anywhere else. The staff here really care about me as a person, not just my injury.
The typical chiropractic clinic or physical therapy office does not offer the type of treatments Olympic does. I think that’s what makes this place special.
